3. Opening Thoughts:
1. Thanks for processing God’s calling with us! Has God given you more clarity and passion for his ultimate purpose in your life? It may still be a work in progress, but based on what you know today, what do you think God’s calling is for you? Is there a verse that connects with your calling in some way? Maybe it’s one of the passages you heard at Catalyst or one we studied during the last two weeks. Today, we’ll read how Jesus announced his calling, as he quoted Isaiah at the beginning of his ministry.
4. Bible Reading: Luke 4.16-30
5. Reflection:
   1. What were the components of Jesus’ calling? What happened just after the announcement?
   2. Write down God’s calling for you somewhere you can easily refer to it. What verse(s) connects with your calling? Share your calling and verse(s) with mature followers of Christ that know you and ask for their feedback. Ask them to pray for you, too.
   3. Ask God to continue to ignite your heart with his calling for you. Surrender your heart to him. Thank him that it’s his work through you. Ask him for discernment and boldness.
