24-Hour WOL Circle Twitter Chat (Wednesday 7 June 2017)

As one way of marking International Working Out Loud Week (5-11 June 2017), I am organising a Twitter Chat about WOL circles to run for the whole of Wednesday 7 June 2017 from midnight BST on the Tuesday/Wednesday day change to midnight BST on the Wednesday/Thursday day change.

Firstly, I am looking for 23 people to host 1 hour time slots during that day to specifically tweet with the #WOLweek and #WOLchat hashtags in each tweet and respond to WOL-related tweets during their time slot. I am happy to have people book for a half hour slot if that is all they can manage. Ideally, you would have participated in a full 12-week WOL circle.

Given that tweets are public, anyone in the WOL community can and do tweet and reply to WOL tweets but I am after people to specifically review the Twitter streams and keep the WOL circle conversation going for the 24 hour period.

Secondly, I had another crazy idea of curating tweets posted on that day into a "WOL Circle Manual in Tweets" co-creation for use by the community as it sees fit after the day.

This will encourage all WOL circle advocates to post tweets during that day, again with the #WOLchat hashtag (but I will let you off also using the #WOLweek hashtags to save some precious characters!), distilling into a single tweet some aspect of WOL circle best practice.

I am a relatively recent participant in Twitter Chats but am now a zealous advocate of them for marshalling and enhancing our collective knowledge and wisdom on a subject.

I am aware that Twitter Chats are usually one hour in duration in which one or more questions are asked for the world to respond to. I intend this day to be less formal with hosts effectively running their slot as they see fit in and amongst the "normal" global Twitter activity.

I am also aware that normal Twitter Chats being one hour inevitably means that parts of the world are excluded for timezone reasons. Making this chat 24 hours addresses that specific issue for this one day.
