Life Group: Known #10

  1. Icebreaker: what is one positive memory of Christmas 2015 that will stay with you for many Christmases to come? Or one from a prior year?
  2. How Does Your Life Measure Up: Michael Hyatt’s LifeScore Assessment
    1. Play the vid at link above
    2. Read score classifications to group while group scores on sheet and totals their score
    3. Play the 31-60 score vid as one example (only available via link above)
  3. Bible Reading: Matthew 22.36-40
  4. “It is my joyous response to God’s love for me that leads me to desire being a change maker for him. My deepest sense of purpose and joy are found in my devotion to him in response to his devotion to me!” With that in mind, let’s concentrate on two of God’s commands today. The great commandment is above and you’ll read the Great Commission in a moment. Those two commands are important to God and they shape our calling. As you read these passages, let’s get practical. How does God want you to live out these commands in this season of your life?
  5. Bible Reading: Matthew 28.16-20
  6. Reflection:
    1. What motivates you to live out the great commandment?
    2. What did the disciples do just before Jesus told them the Great Commission? (vs. 17) What motivates you to obey the Great Commission?
    3. How do you think God wants you to specifically obey those two commands in this season of your life? Ask God for the power and the wisdom to obey him.
  7. Worship: Toby Mac - “Til The Day I Die”
  8. Prayer Concerns and Open Prayer

The material in this post is based on Day 10 of the Bible Reading Plan from Catalyst titled “Known”.
