Drum Major - a tune written for me

When I was much younger, school age up to leaving for university (1980), I was the Drum Major with mace for 2nd Loughborough Boys’ Brigade Company at Loughborough Baptist Church. This included parades through the streets of Loughborough as well as some Founder’s Day Parades through the streets of Leicester - one of which remains a life highlight leading what seemed like hundreds of buglers and drummers with the high buildings and confined spaces in the city centre. Some history of the Boys’ Brigade in Loughborough can be found here.

The bandmaster was Ron Hinton and amazingly he wrote a tune for me back then.

It has been 30 or so years since hearing this so I was wondering if any band out there would be able to learn and record this tune for me? You may want to add it to your repertoire!

I can be contacted on Twitter and Facebook.

The tune is below:
