With the resignation of Ed Miliband, I stumbled over Dan Jarvis as a person who was most likely, in my opinion, to make Labour electable again in 2020. The more I read, the more I liked and then he stated that he would not be standing. I will watch him closely with interest.

Articles etc:-

- Appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions in April 2014

- The Guardian’s Rising stars of 2015: politician Dan Jarvis

Articles about him not standing:-

Have to say that I am usually impressed by anyone with military leadership experience and Dan’s background in this area mean that he could be be a great leader of any party.
